Douch & Small - Commercial Interior Design in Wimborne, Dorset

Our Dorset-based interior design studio was commissioned to complete the refurbishment of the Head Office for Douch & Small in Wimborne, having previously worked with the client on their Corfe Mullen site. This commercial interior design project involved transforming the Reception, Client Meeting Room, Chapel of Rest, Hallway, and Staff Kitchen within a Grade II listed building.

To enhance the architectural detailing, we installed decorative coving, ceiling roses, and deep skirting boards. The Chapel of Rest features bespoke wall panelling and William Morris wallpaper to create a peaceful, elegant setting. Durable Polyflor LVT flooring was laid throughout the ground floor, while contract-grade carpet softened the Chapel space. All furnishings, including the Reception Desk and Office Chair, met fire safety and contract-grade standards. We selected antique brass hardware and lighting for a timeless finish and arranged the professional reframing of historical artwork to celebrate the company’s heritage. We continue to design and install seasonal window displays, creating eye-catching visual merchandising that engages local passersby.
